At Tidal, we know it can feel a little strange or even worrying to spend time with someone you haven’t seen in a while. You might feel excited, nervous, or have lots of questions. That’s completely okay.
Our contact centre is a safe and friendly place where you can spend time with your parent, grandparent, or other family members who don’t live with you. Everyone at Tidal is kind and here to help you feel relaxed and supported.
Before your first visit:
You won’t be coming forever — just for now. We’ll help your family move forward so that things get easier for everyone.
Sometimes parents don’t get along and need help making big decisions. That’s when a group called Cafcass (which stands for Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service) gets involved. Don’t worry, it’s a long name, so they just call it Cafcass!
Cafcass talks to children and makes sure grown-ups listen to how you feel. Their job is to help the court make the best choices for you.
